Susan Miller Overbey is a partner at Burke, Warren, MacKay & Serritella, P.C. Susan is co-chair of the Firm’s Religious Organizations, and Not-for-Profit Organizations practice group. Susan has defended and counseled religious, not-for-profit, and educational entities on matters involving hiring, supervision, and retention of employees. Susan routinely represents child-serving entities in litigation involving employee misconduct and has conducted internal investigations for clients on such matters. Susan also advises and presents on child-abuse prevention best practices.
